Learn. Grow. Thrive.
Education as a way into work.
With unemployment at 37% in Nigeria in 2023 (NESG), a young, growing population needs new routes into good jobs. Zacrac's data science and analytics courses are one of those routes. The website's job is to help a hopeful learner choose one with confidence.
01A young learner wants a skill that leads to a job, and data science looks like a way in.
02Is this for me? What will I actually learn, module by module?
03Can I trust it? Who's teaching, and do they know the industry?
04Does it fit my life? How are classes run, when, and what does it cost?
05The course page answers each question in order: curriculum, instructor, format and price.
06And one clear action, in reach the moment they decide.
Illustrative, drawn for this case study from the research and design described here.
- Visual direction for the platform's web presence
- The course page: structure, content hierarchy and the curriculum pattern
- Instructors, Products and Other Services pages
- Collaboration with Wale Adeyemo, Kemi Oluwakemi and David Sawe over three months

Who's on the other side of the screen.
The questions the course page had to answer, mapped from the brief and the client's audience. Replace with real learner quotes if you have them.
What shaped the redesign.
The course page is where decisions happen.
Every learner question above lands on one page.
Learners need detail without overwhelm.
A full curriculum is long, but hiding it loses trust.
Credibility comes from people.
“Who's teaching?” is part of choosing a course.
Clarity over completeness.
1An accordion curriculum on the course page
Evidence · Insight 02List every module and lesson in full, or summarise and link out.
A clean accordion: every module visible at a glance, with lessons one tap away.
It gives users enough information to decide as they move through the page, at their own depth.
Detail sits behind a tap, so module titles have to carry the meaning on their own.
2A visual direction that's ambitious but welcoming
Context · the audienceThe platform's ideas were strong, but the website had no consistent visual direction.
Bold headlines (“Learn. Grow. Thrive.”), a purple-to-orange gradient for key actions, and real photography of learners.
Data science can feel intimidating. The site should feel aspirational and human at the same time.
Photography makes the site depend on good image sourcing.
Four pages, one direction.
A client who couldn't stop smiling.
- Insight 01Enrolment conversionConversion rate: course page visits that end in an enrolment.
- Insight 01Course page bounce rateBounce rate: visits that leave without interacting.
- Insight 02Reaching the decision pointsScroll heatmap: share of visitors who reach the curriculum and the price card.
- Decision 1Curriculum engagementClick heatmap: share of visitors who open at least one module.
- Insight 03Credibility before enrollingNavigation flow: share of enrolments that viewed an instructor first.
Bringing someone's ideas to life.
- Direction unlocks everything. Giving the platform a visual direction made every later page decision faster.
- Ease of use is the brief. A beautiful course page still has to answer a learner's questions in order.
- Client joy matters. My favourite part was seeing how satisfied the team was when they saw the work.
Choose a course with confidence.
The course page, rebuilt so you can use it. The curriculum accordion is the pattern I introduced in the redesign.
