Product designerBased in Houston, Texas

Alex Oyebade

I design fintech and learning products people fall for on the first tap, then keep coming back to.

How it runs

Four steps, no mystery.

  1. 01

    Listen.

Stakeholder and user interviews, analytics and support tickets, to find where people get stuck.

  2. 02

    Map.

Flows, information architecture and the riskiest assumptions, agreed with the team before any pixels.

  3. 03

    Make.

Prototypes tested with real users, then UI and a design system the team can ship from.

  4. 04

    Measure.

Launch, watch activation and retention, and keep sharpening whatever moves the numbers.

Beyond the pixels

A people person who happens to push pixels.

I realised early that I love helping people see new perspectives and get unstuck. When I'm not designing, I'm in virtual and physical communities leading conversations on emotional intelligence for tech talent.

These days I'm based in Houston. Oh, and I take the best iPhone pictures, which probably explains the polaroids.
